THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT CHLOË GRACE MORETZ

Chloe moretz was raised in a christian family and have four brothers. Her parents divorced when she was still young.

She had her first big-screen acting role in 2005 in the remake of The Amityville Horror. she also played rachel hansen the younger sister of joseph gordon levitt, in (500) days of summer.
She dated Brooklyn Beckham, the son of David Beckham, in 2014. The couple began dating again in 2016.
1. She Dreams Of College
Much like the great Emma Watson, Moretz is humbled and honoured by her career and life position, but she too isn't entirely willing to sacrifice her education for the sake of a role. Speaking to a fan on Twitter (refinery29) prior to her 18th birthday back in February, she expressed her desire and lust for learning, but is also aware of scheduling pressures and shooting commitments:
“I want to be able to go to college, but I know that when I turn 18, I’m going to want to focus on my job. I think what I want to do is really focus on acting, really harbour that, and work really hard. When I have the chance, then I’ll go to, like, NYU and take random classes and try some cinematography, art history and abnormal psychology.”
2. She Has Medical Parents
A common practice for performers of Moretz's age is having elders established in Hollywood; they can act as a quick stepping-stone to good things because as we all know too well, 'it's not what you know, it's who you know'. However, the actress avoids this cliche for the most part as her parents are both medical professionals.
Born on 10th February 1997, in Atlanta, Georgia, her mother Teri Duke is a nurse, whilst father McCoy Lee Moretz is a plastic surgeon. Her parents are now divorced and in 2002, she moved to New York City with her mother and brother Trevor which is where her flair for performance truly took flight.
3. She Has A Very Special Acting Coach
The move to The Big Apple was predominantly to aid brother Trevor's future. He had been accepted into the prestigious New York Professional Performing Arts School and was gearing up to a career in Hollywood. Moretz would aid her brother's training by reading through lines with him, which she claims acted as a major motivator for her own dreams.
Trevor was among the first to recognise his sister’s talent. “Even as a tiny child, she had something,” he told W magazine. Following successful early roles and frequent calls from studios, he walked away from his own career ambitions to support his sister's and now serves as her acting coach, producer, mentor, manager and much more. Moretz's connection to her family is exceptionally strong (more on this later), and the level of support from her loved ones is rather touching.
4. She Lied For A Role
In the wake of the Kick-Ass (2010) hysteria, Moretz's career went into overdrive and she had the pick of the bunch for future roles. An actress always furthered by those attached, she seized the opportunity to audition for Martin Scorese's mesmeric silent cinema ode Hugo (2011). The problem was however, the filmmaker and his casting team were categorically looking for British performers only.

Despite her American tongue, she went along for the audition and spoke as professionally as possible with a British accent. Moretz read her lines and expressed desire to serve in the film, and luckily for her the callback came in. It wasn't until she had signed on for the role that she revealed her English roots were all a lie. Speaking to W magazine, she offered:
"They told me he only wanted to cast British actors, so I wore a wig and made an audition tape using a British accent. He liked my tape and flew me to New York, and I kept up the act that I was a British girl who had moved to L.A.”
5. She Voiced An Entire Part Before Losing Out
Acclaimed Walt Disney Animation Studios release Bolt (2008) was a vibrant, exciting affair. Quite rightly, Moretz wanted in on the action and luckily for her, she was selected. Recording the entire part of Penny; the young girl who embarks on canine super-missions with her trusty hound, she would later find out that her work had in fact been dropped and Penny would be replace by Miley Cyrus.

At the time, Cyrus was an invaluable asset to the Disney arsenal and the studio believed the picture would sell better and find a wider global appeal with her name attached. Thankfully, the twosome are good friends and there was very little bad blood shared during the debacle. Disney asked for Moretz to voice Young Penny in the flashback sequences to which she obliged and these feature in the finished film.
